To reduce the pressure on the customer of constantly having to save their progress, we should auto-save all the data changed unless the user chooses “Cancel changes”. Once the customer is finished filling out all the essential information, a prominent suggestion to proceed and publish the book will appear in the sidebar (illustration 3.16).

Once the book is published, we should celebrate such a big milestone for the author and make them feel good about finishing this long process. The next natural step for them would be to preview how the book looks on Amazon and Kindle stores and start promoting their book — via social networks or using paid ads on Amazon (illustration 3.17).
